Family and Friends

We offer you our heartfelt condolences. We know that you have lost someone special, too: be it your grandchild, niece or nephew, or friend’s child.

We know that teens and children grieve too, for they have lost their little sibling. With parental guidance, younger people might benefit greatly from this website as well.

Many of us have lost a grandparent, a pet, even a parent or a close friend. But most of us have not experienced the tragedy of losing a baby. So when this happens, it can be very confronting: we’d like to be able to be of comfort, but we often don’t have any experience in this area. We are at a loss for words. And at the same time, we discover we are grieving the baby too. We were looking forward to welcoming the baby to this world: as our grandchild, our niece or nephew, our younger sibling, or as the child of our friend. But now, instead of welcoming them, they have been taken from us too.

So you have our sympathy because we understand that you have also suffered a significant loss. You will discover that this section of the website is a place of both comfort and information, created as a resource especially for family and friends.

We welcome you to visit our website regularly, as it is frequently updated. If you can’t find the answers you are looking for, please contact us. We will reply promptly and thoroughly.

Of utmost importance is our RED ALERT section -- with information that saves babies' lives.

If you would like to contribute to this website, we welcome your comments and articles. You’ll find it’s very easy to submit this information. Your contributions will add to the valuable resources that are on offer here for all visitors. We very much appreciate your interest and support.

Finally, we would like to thank you for being such caring family members and friends. Your very compassion has drawn you here to our website. And it is your compassion that helps parents move more quickly through their grief.
